Indicators of Stress

How do you hold your baby?

Could the side you choose to hold your baby on be an indicator of high stress levels?

I've never considered that the side I cradled my baby on really meant anything before but a recent study by Durham University suggests that mothers who cradle their baby to the right side may be showing signs of extreme stress. Researchers determined that mothers who hold their babies on the right hand side may be giving strong clues that they are suffering from postpartum stress and anxiety. I wonder how accurate this information is. After reading this, I found that I generally hold my baby on my left hand side but I remember times when my baby was younger and I spent such a large portion of my day holding him that I would switch sides periodically to give my arms a break. Does that indicate stress or tired muscles?
