Mom Off Duty

Even moms need a break now and then.

For my birthday, my son (with the help of his dad) gave me a button that said "Mom Off Duty." My husband assures me that this Saturday will indeed be my day "off." While I don't expect that I will actually get the whole day off (after all, Dad can't breastfeed!), I am looking forward to sleeping late and then going shopping with my sister. The fact is, we all need to take time for ourselves now and then. We will be better parents for it in the end.
