Your toddler will love listening to stories that you make up.

Jerry N Simpson is a grandfather who enjoys sharing his love of storytelling with his grandchildren. His blog, Bedtime Tales, includes many of the stories that he has written over the years.

As a parent, you can also learn to be a storyteller. I have many fond memories of my father making up stories as a child. We enjoyed seeing what he would come up with next. Toddlers love to hear stories about made up things that they could do. Include your toddlers name in your stories to really keep them engaged.
