Im looking for tips on how to cope with everyday life.
I have a 1yr old son and i work full time. I leave the house at 7.30am every morning and dont get home till 5.30pm.
I spend time with my son and i then get him ready for bed myself ready for bed and prepare everything for the next morning for us to get out on time. Im finding it hard keeping ontop of the house work along with all this, and i know there is the suggestion of getting him to help me out but he is still to young and he pulls more things out than i can get put away.

Being a working mother is so hard and for me the hardest age is always when they hit the one year mark. What kind of work do you do? Some companies will allow you to work from home a few days a week. You'd still be busy working but it would cut out your commuting time and you could spend your breaks with your son. If you are married, can your husband help with the housework? That is a lot to keep up on when you are working full time.

I would try scaling back on toys if you find your son pulling out more than you can keep up with. Limit the number of toys he can have out at one time so you have an easier cleanup. You have a lot to deal with. Try simplifying where you can. Make freezer meals ahead of time or go to one of those companies that will package freezer meals for you. Give yourself permission to ignore some of the cleanup so you can relax at night.

Good Luck! I hope things get easier for you. I was in the same position you are after the birth of my first son. I opened a home daycare so that I could stay home with my children and it has worked out really well for us.
