» chelle9664 - Couldn't Remember anything...

I just recently had my first child, what a little bundle of joy she is for my husband and I.  One little problem though, I can't seem to remember anything or plan anything since she has come into our lives.  I was going crazy trying to find a way to remember all her feedings, appointments, etc as well as keeping track of her sleeping patterns too.  I asked around and couldn't find any help until my friend Janet turned me on to the BEST little scheduling/tracking tool in the world.  There is a company based in Denver that provides a " Personalized Daily Calendar and Organizer for Mom & Baby".  It's so cool.  You can have your own baby' picture on the cover and everything.  The planner helps keep track of everyday things from feedings and appointments to helping track my baby's sleeping patterns.   Plus it has an area for baby-sitter instructions, important phone numbers, and a whole page of helpful websites.  I just couldn't keep this little gem to myself.  Hopefully it will be as helpful to other new moms as it is to me.  Here is the webiste, www.mybusybabe.com, hope it helps someone out there.

Your memory will get better with time. After childbirth your body releases a hormone that actually causes memory loss. Some think it is so that mothers will forget the pain of childbirth and still want to have more children in the future. It will get better with time though. One thing that helped me was to memorize songs or poems. Simple exercises can exercise your memory and build you memory muscles in the same way you build other muscles.
